Geri Brown Criss August 28, 1945 - July 3, 2020

Geri Brown Criss passed away at her home in Moro, at the age of 74. A daughter of William and Clara Brown she was born in St. Louis. Missouri and received high school education in the nearby community of Berkeley.
At some point in time Geri moved to Arkansas and lived in the surrounding areas of Cotton Plant, Brinkley and Moro. Outside the home she worked as an aide at St. Josephs Nursing home then as a Social Activities director at Cla-Cliff Nursing and Rehab Center, both located in Brinkley. After 17 years of helping the residents to enjoy birthdays celebrations, special holidays and other activities she retired from public work.

Through the years Geri was blessed to fill the role a wife, mother and grandmother. She and husband Ronny enjoyed times with children, family and friends and they became very treasured moments in their lives. Many will remember seeing Geri as a familiar figure in the local Antique shops and helping with the Veazey Estate Sales.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents; William and Clara (Cobb) Brown, and brother; Jack Malcom Wilison, and step-daughter; Cathy King; and second husband; Leroy King.
Survivors include: daughter Michel Walker and fiancé Michael Hall, sons; Mark Hill and wife Robin, Steve King and wife Patty King, Butch King and wife Wendy, Tommy King, Ronny Criss and wife Sara, Ryan Criss and son-in-law Timmy Walker; grandchildren Mark and Jessica Walker, Jon Raven Hill, great-grandchildren Aidan, Lennon and Layton.

A celebration of Geri’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, July 10 at the Brinkley Convention Center. Arrangements were provided by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley.
