Audrey D Campbell

Audrey D. Campbell, 89, of Brinkley passed away Friday, April 11 at Woodruff County Health Center in McCrory. She was the widow of Wilson M. Campbell. She was born June 23, 1935 in Wynne to Homer and Bessie Martin. She was one of nine children.
As a child, Audey was raised in and attended school in the McCrory Community. She was raised in the Apostolic Faith. She was a song leader in the churches she attended throughout the years. She was a former member of Christian Heartline Fellowship Church in Brinkley.
Audrey was united in holy matrimony to Wilson Matthew Campbell May 25, 1955. To this union there were three children. She was self-employed as a Child Care Specialist for more than 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Campbell; son, Mickey Campbell; granddaughter, Kelly Turner; parents, Homer and Bessie Martin; siblings, Lewen Martin, Clovis Martin, Odell Martin, Clinton Martin, Alama Fowler, Grover Martin, Troy Martin and Leo Martin.
Survivors are two daughters, Patsy Arnett of Brinkley and Paula (Timothy) McGinty of Heber Springs; four grandchildren, Jessie (Emily) Arnett of Benton, Amanda Arnett and Walker Cordell Campbell, both of Brinkley and Brodie Faughan of Newport; great-grandchildren, Nash and Jase Arnett of Brinkley, Addison and Audrey Arnett of Benton, Kadence, Hoyt and Hayes Faughan, Layton and Lynnon Campbell, all of Mena; a brother-in-law, Floyd (Cathy) Campbell of McCrory and a sister-in-law, Shirley Lane of Cabot; her Woodruff County Health Center family and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were April 16 at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Brinkley with Elder Eddie Harvey serving as Eulogist. Interment was at Pumpkin Bend Cemetery in McCrory. Pallbearers were Jessie Arnett, Nash Arnett, Jase Arnett, Brodie Faughan, Everett Mixon, and Tim Brown, and honorary were Walker Cordell Campbell, Baxter Sharp, Hoyt Faughn, Hayes Faughn, Lynnon Campbell and Layton Campbell.
