Brinkley Water Employee dies

William Allen McCoy, 63, a dedicated employee of the Brinkley Water Department for 43 years, passed away March 5, 2025 at a Memphis hospital.
He was born October 30, 1961 to Louis and Zella McCoy in Brinkley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Zella McCoy; brothers, Louis McCoy, Jeffery McCoy and Patrick McCoy. Survivors include beloved significant other, his wife of 45 years, Betty McCoy; a son, William Ray McCoy of Keevil; daughters, Sondra (Kenny) Northern of Clarendon, Crystal (Derek) Petty of Keevil, and Jen Irvin of Michigan; brother, Darrin (Cindy) McCoy of Pottsville; sister, Sandra (Jerry) Green of Keevil; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial service was Thursday, March 13 at Bob Neal & Sons.
