Phillip Howard Sayger

Phillip Howard Sayger, beloved father, brother, and grandfather passed away in Lonoke, Arkansas on March 4, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born on September 24, 1943, in Brasfield, Arkansas and one of seven children to the family of Roy and Clora Sayger.
Phillip led a rich and fulfilling life, working various jobs before finding his passion at Riceland Foods, where he spent his career in maintenance until retirement. He was known for his love of motorcycles, farming, and peaceful drives through the countryside. Phillip found joy in the simple things like mowing his yard, fishing, and spending time with family playing games or watching football.
His kindness and warmth endeared him to all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Phillip will be remembered for his generous spirit and the love he shared with those around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Clora Sayger, brother Ricky Don Sayger and sister Clora Mae Speaks.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories to his son Jermey Howard Sayger and wife Molly, daughters Dora Jean Tolleson and Nerissa Faye Severa and husband Mike. He is also survived by his brothers, Buster Sayger and wife Rose, Paul Sayger and wife Wanda, sisters Virginia Campbell, and Faye Holland, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
