Diane Cunningham Retires After 47 Years

Please join me in extending our heartfelt congratulations to Beverly Diane Cunningham,
who will be retiring from the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (Monroe
County) effective March 31, 2025. After a remarkable 47 years of dedicated service, she is
now embarking on a well-deserved retirement.
Diane is a native of Clarendon and is a 1972 graduate of Clarendon High School. She also
received training from Advanced Schools of Secretarial Sciences, Chicago, Illinois, and
attended UAPB, Pine Bluff. "I never thought I would be here for almost 48 years but as the
saying goes NEVER SAY NEVER! I can say I have enjoyed every minute."
Diane's contributions to our company have been invaluable, consistently demonstrating
positive qualities like leadership, expertise, innovation, etc. She played a key role in many
aspects of the Monroe County office and received numerous awards and certificates for service and has
been a true asset to our team.

We are deeply grateful for her commitment and positive impact on the U of A Cooperative
Extension service. While we will miss her dearly, we wish Diane all the best in the next
chapter of life filled with happiness and leisure.
A farewell gathering to celebrate Diane's legacy will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from
2-4 p.m. at Monroe County Farm Bureau Conference Room in Clarendon.
