Darrell Dewayne James November 19, 1970 - January 28, 2020

Darrell James, of Little Rock, formerly of Brinkley, died Tuesday at his home, at the age of 49.
Darrell was born in Little Rock to Herman L. James Sr. and Ora Ann Hall-James. He attended the Pulaski County school system. He was a 1989 graduate of Hall High School.
Darrell had been attending St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock for more than 4 years. He was employed as a machine operator with Sage V Foods in Little Rock for more than 2 years.
His parents, two sisters: Pamela James and Patricia James; maternal grandparents: Johnny Hall Sr. and Ora Lee Hall; paternal grandparents: Jesse “Bub” James and Rosetta People-James all preceded Darrell in death.
Survivors are: his son, Darrell D. James Jr., of Little Rock; a daughter, Darnisha James, of Little Rock; two brothers: Herman L. (Charlotte) James Jr., of Little Rock; and Victor James, of Brinkley; and a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8, at St. Paul Full Gospel Church in Brinkley, with Minister Kevin James officiating. Interment took place at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Brinkley by Branscumb Johnson and Gilchrest Funeral Home of Brinkley. Pallbearers were: Travis James, Carlos Hall, Jerry Hall, Stanley Mahn, Daniel James and Victor James.
