Judy Ann Hood

Judy Ann Hood, 74, passed away at home on June 17th, 2024. She was born in Brinkley to the late Marvin Allen Rigdon and Anna Lee Gross Rigdon on September 3rd, 1949. Judy is a 1967 Alumni of Brinkley High School. She married Larry Hood in 1968, the year he got out of Boot Camp for the National Guard. Judy studied art and enjoyed oil painting various fruits and flowers. She was also the bookkeeper for Larry’s wholesale fuel business. Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Hood; mother, Ann Rigdon; two grandsons Christoper Hood, and Mark Allan Hood; one brother Donald Rigdon and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Perry Eves; one son, Kirk Allan Hood. A graveside service will be held at Upper Cemetery on Wednesday, June 19th at 10:00 am under the direction of Fowler Funeral Home.
