Laura Hood

Laura Hood passed away at the age of 70 on March 6, 2023. She moved to Brinkley when she was 17 with her parents. She has worked as a cook for most of her life.

She was born February 2, 1953 in Jonesboro to Charles and Rosa Sain. She was preceeded in death by her parents; sister, Rosa Puckett; and brothers, Joe Sain, Bill Sain and Tommy Sain.

She raised two step-children, which she loved as her own, Evelyn Dixon and Bert Hood. She also had a daughter, Patricia Leggett; a son, Alan Hood; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She did not want a funeral, but instead a celebration of life, which will be Saturday, April 1 at the home of Patricia Leggett at 3 p.m.
