Aaron Demont Burnett Sr.

Aaron Demont Burnett Sr. was born on February 23, 1981 in Marianna, Arkansas to Lydia Martin and the Terry Gerome Burnett.

Aaron was raised in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. He was reared in a Christian home. He devoted his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized.

Aaron received his formal education through the Little Rock Public School System. He participate in various sports programs in earlier years of school. He regularly voiced his interest in becoming a member of the ROTC program, and his dream came true when he transferred to Central High, and joined their Air Force ROTC program in 1997. He was a member of the 2000 graduating class from Central High School.

After graduating high school, Aaron made the brave decision to serve his country and he joined the United States Navy in June of 2000. He completed his basic training at Great Lakes Recruit Training Command. He would go on to travel the world with the Navy for seven years. After he was honorably discharged, he would serve in the Naval Reserve for several years.

Aaron was an all-around good guy who loved to be around his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his uncles, and spending time with his loved ones at family gatherings. He also enjoyed watching Crime Investigation shows on TV.

On December 12, 2022 God pardoned Aaron’s soul from mortality and granted him a mansion in Glory. Awaiting his arrival in Heaven was his father, Terry Gerome Burnett.

Aaron’s memories will be left in the hearts of his mother Lydia Martin of Little Rock, his maternal grandmother Romelia Martin of Garrett Grove, AR, and paternal grandmother Willie B. Burnett; AR; two sons, Aaron Burnett Jr. and Abram S. Burnett both of Little Rock, AR; his friend Channelle Tidwell of Little Rock, AR; two brothers, Christopher Burnett of Owensboro, KY, and Terrence Burnett, of Fayetteville, AR; five sisters, Shana Flenoy and Sharhonda Frazier both of Little Rock, AR; Mesha Burnett, Terranika Burnett, and Tannicha Burnett, and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives, and friends.

Funeral took place on Saturday December 17, 2022 at 3 pm at Springfield M.B. Church in Moro, Arkansas. Burial will take place at Springfield Church Cemetery in Moro, Arkansas by Branscumb-Johnson-Gilchrest Funeral Home. "The assurance of respect and the commitment of service..." (870) 734-2772.
