Robert Lee Griffin Sr

Robert Lee Griffin Sr, 64 of Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, December 4 at the Central Arkansas Veterans (V.A. Medical Center) Healthcare System in Little Rock.

Robert was born July 12, 1958 in Widener, Arkansas to Willie Lee Griffin and Urlee Verser-Griffin. He was one of seven boys born to this union.

Robert received his education from the Wheatley Public School System. He was a 1976 graduate of Wheatley High School.

Robert went on to enlist into the United States Marine Corps, where he served four years and received an honorable discharge in 1983.

Robert was employed by D&L industries in Marianna, Arkansas for several years.

His parents, Willie Lee Griffin and Urlee Griffin and a brother Joe Nathan Hicks preceded Robert in death.

Survivors: his son Robert Lee Griffin Jr. of Fayetteville, AR, Daughters: Keuna Griffin-Fowler of Jonesboro, AR; Tamara Griffin of Jonesboro, AR; Robin Griffin of Jonesboro, AR; brothers Willie James Griffin of Madison, AR; Floyd Griffin (Sandra)- Killeen, TX; Davie Gean Griffin of Biloxi, MS; Roosevelt Griffin of Little Rock, AR; Stanley Griffin (Brenda) of Grand Prairie, TX; Nathaniel Hicks of Forrest City, AR; and s host of other relatives and friends.
