Betty Williams

Betty Ann Williams, 70 of Holly Grove passed away on Friday, September 2 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Betty was born August 18, 1952 in Holly Grove, Arkansas to Jasper Williams and Annie Mae Parks-Williams.

Betty received her education from the Holly Grove Public School System.

While growing up in Holly Grove, Betty and her family attended church at New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church.

Through the years Betty was employed by Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart for 3 years, Pinecrest Cleaners in Brinkley for more that 20 years and Happy Mart (formerly J&Js) for more than 13 years. She never minded hard work.

Her parents: Jasper Williams and Annie Mae Williams; three brothers: Jasper Williams Jr., Jerry Williams, and Nathaniel Williams; a sister Annie Ruth Williams Jackson and her longtime companion Jimmy Stewart all preceded Betty in death.

Survivors are: four sons: Gregory (Linn) Williams of Chicago, Ill; Mark (Cindy Sain) Williams of Holly Grove, AR; James (Gloria) Stewart of Pine Bluff, AR and Mark Stewart of Detroit, MI; twelve grandchildren: Kendrick (Ashley) Jackson of Stuttgart, AR; Kentrell Jackson of Little Rock, AR; Greneshia Williams (Mark) Andrews of Brinkley, AR; Jamarius Wiley of Pine Bluff, AR; Shanice Williams and Ronesha Williams all of Pine City, AR; Marquale Williams, Anthony Williams, Marrissa Thomas, Martez Thomas, Marshawn Thomas and Marche Thomas all of Chicago, Ill; four great grandchildren, a brother Edward Williams of Omaha, NE; two sisters: Erma Jean Williams of New Jersey and Barbara Sims of Illinois, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held in Saturday, September 10 at 10 AM at Hayes Cemetery, Highway 86 in Holly Grove with Pastor Sandra King-Lee officiating, Services provided by C.J. Williams Funeral Directors and Cremation of Brinkley (870) 589-5036 Email: williamsfuneraldirectors2022@gmail.com
