Bennett of Clarendon named Player of the Week

Senior Ryce Bennett, of Clarendon, was selected as the Player of the Week for Marvell Academy for the game played on Friday, August 26th, 2022. In the home game against the Columbus Christian Rams, Bennett was fierce on defense with seven tackles and a pass breakup. He also averaged 40 yards on punts. Bennett was recognized by the Phillips County Farm Bureau. The Player of the Week is selected by each team’s coach, and the player is presented with a commemorative football by a Phillips County Farm Bureau Agent. Bennett is the son of Shaun and Katherine Bennett of Clarendon, AR.
