Delta native joins KATV Channel 7

Emma Allen is a bright and vibrant person with a quick wit and warm personality. She one of the new faces that viewers of KATV Channel 7 (Little Rock) will be seeing soon. She has joined the KATV team as a reporter and producer. She plans on furthering her education by obtaining a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University, and she will consider this avenue at KATV in the future.

Emma Allen, of Helena, is a graduate of Arkansas State University. She holds a B.S. in Multimedia Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcasting. While attending A-State, Emma was very involved with the ASU Tennis team and the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. The was the Secretary of the Special Olympics and named Miss A-State “Miss Congeniality”. She was also a Student Representative for the Infrastructure Committee in the Communications Department.

Emma attended DeSoto School (West Helena, AR) and graduated in the Class of 2019. She is the daughter of Phillip and Sarah Allen of Helena. Phillip is the owner of Allen Law Firm; Sarah is an educator at DeSoto School. Emma is the granddaughter of the late Charles Allen, and Melinda Allen (Hot Springs) and Paul Pautsch (Bella Vista, AR) and Beth Pautsch (Bentonville, AR).
