Bulah Lee Shannon passed away at St. Vincent in Little Rock, at the age of 89. Bulah was born in Hackelburg, Alabama, to Herbert and Addie Hamilton Sr. and received education through the local schools. In the early 50s, she moved to Memphis and by 1974, came to Arkansas where she remained.

She was blessed to become a wife, homemaker, and mother to four daughters. On April 6, 1957, she married Lonnie Shannon. She loved helping Lonnie with the softball team they sponsored through C&S Clutch, putting her lifetime fishing license to good use, working in her yard and mowing the lawn with her push mower. Some of her favorite times were spent on the phone with her brother telling jokes, or playing a good game of cards. She was also known for her love of sweets. Beulah was employed with the Memphis Casket Company making rosettes to be sewn inside. She later secured a position working with Keithley Bakery where she remained until retirement, to enjoy quality time with family and friends. Bulah was of the Baptist faith and through baptism at a young age accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Harold Hunt and Lonnie Shannon, grandchild, Shawn Barnett, and great-grandchild, Tara Reynolds, brothers Travis Hamilton and Herbert Hamilton Jr.
