Family Fun Challenge - Week 1 Challenges!!

The Monroe County Herald is celebrating August as National Family Fun Month by holding our very first “Family Fun Challenge”! Each week this month, challenges will be posted in our printed edition and on our website and Facebook page. Families can choose between the activities each week and then submit their photos or videos by emailing them to monroecountyherald@gmail.com. We will post the photos and videos and our readers can vote on their favorites. There will be a winner for each week plus a Family Fun Grand Prize Pack – your family could win big while having a lot of fun together! Prizes will be offered each week to one winning family. The weekly winning families will go in a drawing for our Family Fun Grand Prize – a package loaded with games and activities your family will love! Winning Family will be announced in our September 3 issue!

Week 1 Challenges

Choose 1 challenge, complete the activity, and email your photos or videos to monroecountyherald@gmail.com. Call Emily Johnson at 501-940-6577 for more information. BE CREATIVE!!

Beat the Heat Challenge - this can be any activity that your family does to enjoy cooling off during hot summer days. Pool, sprinklers, snow cones, go to the movies, make ice cream, etc - there's no limit to how creative you can be with this!

Family Dance Challenge - choreograph and practice a dance that involves members of your family, inspired by a Tik Tok dance or any other dance routine. Include costumes if you wish! Have fun with this challenge and send us the video!
